My Journey Begins in the Heart of New York My career began in New York City over 25 years ago working as an Art Director in the healthcare industry. I had dreams of being a doctor as a child - however, with a father who owned a design firm and a mother who did fashion illustration, my fate was headed down a slightly different path - at least for the moment.
I attended art school in Boston and Europe studying fine art and design, spending summers working for my Father’s design firm in New York. In time I realized I really loved the world of design and marketing and landed a job as an Art Director at a pharmaceutical advertising agency in the city. Loved the work but . . . creating ads for Qualudes wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when I thought about working in healthcare.
To the Heart of the MidwestAfter spending some time out of country, I came back to New York realizing I no longer “fit”. I needed something more and decided to venture west of the Hudson River (a rarity for a New Yorker) and found myself in Minnesota. I soon opened my own design and marketing company, Carloni Design Associates with an emphasis on the healthcare industry.
Woven into the fabric of my career was always my passion for supporting others on their journey toward optimal health. Though i didn’t choose the path of being a medical doctor, I did choose to continue my studies in a variety of healing modalities throughout the years, becoming proficient in homeopathy, massage and nutritional interventions.
Dr. Carl Pfeffer, one of the grandfather’s of Orthomolecular Medicine, was my first mentor - thanks to my mother. She would bring us to see him when we were children. She believed that eating a healthy diet and supplementing when needed was essential to good health, long before it was popular! I was intrigued and excited to learn, at a very young age, that there were people out there helping others get better using diet and supplementation.
Living My PassionAs I continue to integrate my worlds of art and healing, I continue to implement creative and innovative coaching methods I learning from some of the world’s top health and wellness experts along with practical lifestyle management techniques. As a a graduate with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I bring with me the knowledge of over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.

My Greatest Teacher, Rayna RoseMy daughter Rayna was born with Down Syndrome at 2lbs 2ozs. She survived open heart surgery when she was just 7.5lbs and later struggled with
PANDAS for two years. Her story is one of great triumph. She was able to rise above what seemed liked insurmountable odds, with the help and support of the right foods and essential vitamins and minerals. She is a true testament to what is possible with nutritional and lifestyle interventions.
My experience with Rayna has enriched my study and helped me understand the importance of an individualized approach.
